After maintaining continuous first-place rankings for more than six months in local Google search results for the Arabic keyword “استضافة” (web hosting), we decided to conduct a structured test to evaluate the accumulated trust signals and quality stability associated with our website.
Yesterday, we intentionally carried out what we refer to as a Digital Moat Test for Jordan Host.
The test involved generating a natural inaccessibility scenario (planned downtime) for a defined two-hour window between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM. During such periods, search engines typically reassess accessibility before presenting results to users. As expected, our website was temporarily removed from the top search results while it was inaccessible.
Once the website was fully restored, it regained its #1 position in search results within hours—immediately and without any ranking transition period.
This experiment reaffirmed something we have always believed:
Trust is built over time.
Sustained effort and genuine quality are recognized—even in details that many do not notice.
To ensure transparency and ongoing accountability, we will begin documenting our ranking position on a daily basis.
